ESET Internet Security

ESET, the Bratislava-headquartered company that provides award-winning antivirus and security software, introduced ESET Internet Security in April 2016, touting the fact that it was designed specifically for home users and explaining that ESET Internet Security can protect against a variety of threats: viruses, hacker attacks, spyware, rootkits, spam, phishing websites, attacks that use scripts to exploit system vulnerabilities, attacks that aim to access your webcam, and more.

ESET Internet Security provides support for any Windows edition from Windows Vista all the way up to Windows 10. A simple setup wizard will help you install ESET Internet Security on a PC that runs a supported Windows edition. Once the installation process completes, ESET Internet Security will launch automatically and will initiate a computer scan.

While ESET Internet Security is up and running, it displays an icon in the system tray (lower right, near the clock). Left click this icon to bring up a user friendly and easy to navigate interface. From this interface you can access all the features and functions that ESET Internet Security has to offer and you can access all the settings and options that govern how ESET Internet Security works.

With ESET Internet Security by your side, you know you’re protected against viruses, spyware, rootkits, spam, phishing attempts, attacks that use scripts to exploit vulnerabilities, hacker attacks, spam, and more. It’s worth mentioning that ESET Internet Security has a Webcam Protection feature that notifies you and lets you block processes and applications that want to access your webcam. It’s also worth mentioning that ESET Internet Security comes with a Home Network Protection feature that protects your router against network threats and shows you who is connected to your router.
